Questions, answered plainly.

What membership includes, how review works, and what the badge actually claims. And, separately, how honorees are selected. If an answer isn’t here, ask us — we’d rather add the question than leave you guessing.

Membership

Everything on the services side of the wall.

What does a Chiro+ membership include?
  • A published feature article about your practice.
  • A verified public profile with your booking link.
  • The Chiro+ Verified badge, plus an embed for your own site.
  • A certificate and a featured social graphic.
  • A brand kit and a monthly update slot.
  • A public verification page anyone can check.
What does it cost, and when am I charged?

Membership is $79/month or $599/year. You are charged when you join, before you write anything — the membership is what opens the Article Studio.

The invoice reads: “Chiro+ membership — publication & member services. Awards are never for sale.”

What does “published or refunded” mean?

If your article cannot clear review after two revision rounds — or your license check does not come back in good standing — your membership is cancelled and refunded in full, automatically.

No support ticket, no chasing anyone. It is built into the system, not a policy someone has to remember. The door stays open for a fresh draft later.

Is the annual plan different?

Same membership, paid once a year: $599 for the year instead of $948, which saves $349.

What is Chiro+ Leadership?

A $249/month tier, by application. It adds speaking and media placement, the Chiro+ Gives service programs, growth systems, and a quarterly leadership cohort.

It carries no advantage in recognition of any kind. Nothing you can purchase changes that. Honorees are chosen by editorial judgment against the published criteria alone.

Publication & review

The bar every feature clears, and what happens if it doesn’t.

How long does review take?

Three to five business days from submission. Features run 600–1,200 words.

What is my article reviewed against?

Nine editorial criteria, published in full on the editorial standards page. Criteria 1–5 are compliance gates, 6–7 are professional standards, 8–9 are the quality bar.

Revision requests cite the criterion number, so you always know exactly what to fix.

What if my article needs changes?

Two revision rounds are included. Light copy edits are handled as touch-ups rather than a revision round, and you are told when that happens.

If it still cannot clear after two rounds, published-or-refunded applies.

Can I write about anything?

It has to be editorial, not advertising, and it has to stay inside your scope of practice. No cure claims or guaranteed outcomes. No patient data or identifying details, ever.

The guidance sits beside the editor while you write — you will not have to go hunting for a PDF.

Verification & the badge

What the mark claims — and, just as importantly, what it does not.

What does the Chiro+ Verified badge actually claim?

That your license is verified and in good standing, that you have a published feature in Chiro+, and that your membership is active. That is the whole claim.

It does not claim you are the best, the top, or number one. It never has and it never will — that is what makes it usable in your advertising.

How is my license verified?

Against your state board record, using the license number and state you supply. Automated where the state supports lookup, same-day manual where it does not. Rechecked annually.

What happens to my badge if my license lapses, or I stop being a member?

It stops showing as verified — everywhere, immediately. The badge on your own site, the embed, and your verification page all read live from the record rather than from a saved flag.

That is deliberate. A badge that could go stale would not be worth checking.

How may I describe the mark in my own marketing?

Fine to say: “Featured in Chiro+” or “Chiro+ Verified.”

Not fine: “voted best chiropractor,” “award-winning chiropractor,” “#1 in Austin.” Several state boards restrict superlative advertising, so this protects you as much as us.

The binding version lives in the badge usage license on the legal page.

Recognition

A separate register. Free to enter. Never for sale.

What is the annual honor?

One doctor a year, selected by editorial judgment against published criteria. The honor is The Golden Spine.

Free to enter. Never for sale.

How are honorees selected?

Against seven criteria, published in full so anyone can read the basis:

  • Active licensure in good standing
  • Published feature in Chiro+
  • Continuing education
  • Community contribution
  • Peer standing
  • Practice standards
  • Patient reputation

Editorial judgment decides. Nothing else does.

Can I nominate a peer?

Yes. Anyone may put a colleague forward through the nomination page — you do not need an account to do it.

When are honorees announced?

The announcement date for each award year is posted before that year's selection begins, and every member in good standing is notified by email at least thirty days beforehand.

Verification is separate and runs continuously — it never waits for the annual cycle.

Group E

Account & billing

Awards are never for sale, and never appear at checkout.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time. Your membership runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. An ordinary cancellation is not prorated.

Two things behave differently after that. Your verified status ends with the membership — the badge stops reading verified everywhere it appears. Anything you were named to stays on the record permanently; an honor belongs to the year it was given, and that does not lapse.

Separately, published-or-refunded still applies to a piece that cannot clear review: that one is a full refund, automatic.

Where are the terms, privacy policy, and licenses?

All six documents live on the legal page: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Published-or-Refunded Terms, Award Rules & Criteria, Badge Usage License, and Content License.

Can I stop the emails?

Yes — manage them on the email preferences page. Transactional messages about your own article and your license standing keep sending, because you need those.

How fast is support?

One business day. Send your question through the contact page and we answer within one business day.

Still stuck?

If your question isn’t here, send it over. We answer within one business day, and questions that come up twice get added to this page.
